Which color component is the strongest - value, saturation, or temperature?

Your own personal preferences will determine which attribute of color is the most important. For Bonnard, it may have been temperature, for Matisse, it may have been saturation. By far, the strongest component of color is value. When a viewer looks at your art they first notice the differences of lightness and darkness, which is value contrast.
