Won’t I lose the spontaneity if I constantly analyze my work while I'm doing it?

Last updated on 13 Feb, 2026

In the beginning, especially when learning something new, we can become over analytical. However, in time these principles will become second nature, and we can become spontaneous again. Remember that the analytical and the spontaneous mindsets are complementary. We want to see both these differences in your art. While making your art, it is important to be able to fluidly switch back and forth between both mindsets.
